Can't change download location

My Question or Issue

Restarting my phone, there was some notification about reading my SD card, and all of a sudden, 6000 songs queued up to download. I'd recently re-downloaded all my music, and when I checked my storage, 19GB of my SD card was still occupied (by downloaded music, it's all I use it for). So now, Spotify is downloading 6000+ songs to my phone, which I **bleep** well know won't have enough space (about 2GB remaining). But when I go to my settings, I can't change the Download location! So my issues come down to:

1. Why is Spotify suddenly downloading another 6000 songs?

2. Why has the download location changed (there are still 600MB left in my SD)

3. Why can't I change the download location???
