Car view won't keep the screen on anymore

So previously I was able to have my Spotify play in Car View and my screen would stay on as long as it was running in car view but just a couple days ago it started to time out and turn off. I tried looking at my android display settings in the screen timeout section but I can't find anything that makes an exception to Spotify. I also looked at my Spotify settings and couldn't find anything remotely related to keeping the screen on during car view. I also deleted and reinstalled the app and even reset my phone settings but still no change to the way it was before. My phone is a Galaxy S10

Me too, worked flawless until the last update a couple of days ago. Phone Meizu 16th, Android 8.1, lawnchair launcher.
