Causing my galaxy s4 to restart

I had been having issues with my device restarting., and getting a notification that Spotify had stopped working even when I wasn't using it, nor was it running in the background. I tried everything to troubleshoot the phone itself but nothing would work. I had seen that someone else with the S4 was having the same issues, so I decided to delete the app and have not had a single problem with my phone. This is really upsetting because I really enjoyed spotify but not I have to cancel my subscription. So if anyone is having these same problems, It's not your phone. It's spotify.
