Changed from iphone to android now can't log in!

Please help! I purchased new sony xperia and installed spotify on my new phone. Now when trying to log in it tells me either username or password are incorrect.
i am on premium and very frustrated.

Do you get email receipts for your subscription purchases? In them, the Spotify username you're paying for is shown:

 

Username/ID:        xxxxxxx

Logout of the app, and be sure to use that username to login to your account. It's the one with the Premium features.
