Currently playing songs not highlighted in green

Why aren't my currently playing songs highlighted in green on my Samsung flip 4? I've tried reinstalling the app and that didn't work.

Hey @tbowron,

 

Thanks for posting on the Community! And Kudos for already trying some troubleshooting.

 

Just to confirm, was it a clean reinstall of the app that you tried? This is more thorough than a quick reinstall, and it will clear stored cache, as well as ensure you're running the latest app version.

 

Another thing which comes to mind, are you currently using any custom theme/customized layout on your phone? If so, it would be great if you could try changing to a default theme, to see if you notice any difference.

 

Should this behavior persist, could you double-check if this only happens with the Liked Songs playlist, or if it happens with other playlists as well? Also, did you notice if this happened at any specific points? For example, after an update to the device's OS or to the app.

Solved! (Thanks to Maria) 

You were right! I turned off the high contrast under vision enhancements. Not only was it affecting Spotify but several other apps as well.. it was making me crazy 😂

Oh man... thanks!... I had high contrast on as well... new phone. Wow... that's great, it was so confusing.
