Download Error reached maximum number of downloads

I have just received this message - Download Error You've reached the maximum number of downloads. Then goes on to download more please remove some existing downloads.

I've done that but still get the error message? Tried restarting phone but that didnt work.

Any ideas anyone?

How many tracks would you say you have in Songs (roughly)? e.g. 100, 1000, 5000, or more? 

We'll see what we can suggest.
