Downloaded music disappeared and have to be redownloaded

My Question or Issue

My issue is that whenever I download music to play offline and I update to a new version of spotify.... It erases all my music that Iv'e downloaded. This seems to be an ongoing issue. Spotify is currently installed in internal storage part of my phone. Please help me! Thank you Spotify team.
