Finding the current song in play list

How do I find the current playing in the playlist?

Before the lastest update, it would automaticly jump to the currently playing song when moving from the "playing" screen back to the playlist.  Scrolling to find it in a list of 1000s of songs is not a workable option.

And the feature that REALLY needs to be there is a simply a button on the "playing" screen that removes the current song from the playlist and skips to the next  song.  I've been asking for that for a while...

I tend to add entire albums, or other playlists, to my playlists.  Over time, as I encounter songs I don't like, I remove them.  This is now impossible to do without manually scrolling to find the song in the playlist.
