My Question or Issue

 I follow the instructions for enabling Spotify controls on Google maps, but "show media playback controls" does not show up with the rest of my controls. As a result, I don't know how to enable Spotify and I haven't been able to find a solution online. I believe my apps are up to date as it doesn't give a newer version to download. A screenshot of what I see is attached.
