HTC M8 wont let me shuffle for free

When I try to shuffle is says "Try the 7day free trial" when shuffling should be free. OR I press shuffle, it starts playing a song, but if I try to shuffle again it intents the shuffle button, acknowledging that I pressed it but doesn't do anything.
