How can I disable album art as a screensaver?

My Question or Issue

I have a new LG phone, and after installing Spotify the album art shows up as a screensaver. I've not seen this before. In my Android settings I have Screensaver turned off, but I can't find any other place for this in either Android or Spotify settings. None of the solutions I've found through searching have a useful fix. I've attached a screenshot with the album artwork (Jimi Hendrix).
