How can I get Spotify to work with older android phones?

Hi! I have an older LG Optimus Dynamic phone. When I install Spotify and try to open it says that Spotify is incompatible with my version of Android and it won't open or run. Is there any workaround for this issue that will allow me to run Spotify on my phone? Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Thank you! Anthony
