I have been searching this forum for a couple of hours now, after having a lot of trouble with my spotify app the last two weeks on my Xperia Acro S, android 4.1.2
I have tried a few times to reinstall spotify, but problems just keeps getting worse. I even tried to delete the old spotify-directories on the phone and reinstall spotify app, but then it does not start att all, just starts to a white page. I have read some threads that you should do a clean reinstallation, but have not found any description of how to do that. Could someone tell me how to properly reinstall the app, so that no old corrupt data remains? (I have tried in the phone, settings, apps, spotify, clear all data and clear caches) (p.s. the spell-checker on this site wants to correct "spotify" with "spotifuggle", not to mention all other words it is lacking...)
The most in-depth cleanup of the application is in the android troubleshooting guide:

If you are still having issues after that, fill in the support template and the community can help you troubleshoot.
