How to add friends on spotify

So i found my friend on spotify by typing spotify:user:(their username code) and i can see and like their playlists but there is no button to add them and see what they are listening to. Any tips?

Hey @Amazonia2807, welcome to the community!

You just need to follow your friend's profile to see what they listen to on the Friend Feed. However, the feed isn't  updated in real time, so it might take a while to start showing up.
