How to change the size of Spotify in the notification bar

Seems like Spotify is stuck on the larger player when it's in the notification bar. Anyone know how to change it to the smaller player without the random huge black gap between then skip/pause buttons and the album art?

I think thats because of your phone model, the notificiation bar cannot be changed.

I somehow made it smaller but accidentally pulled down on it to make it big again and now I can't change it back 😞

In case anyone else wants to know I finially figured it out. You have to use 2 fingers and drag upwards on the notification bar to re-size it.
