How to delete songs in your playlist while it is playing.

There are over a thousand songs in my playlist. When I am listening to the playlist, I sometime want to delete a song currently being play, what it the best method to do this?

The only way I can do this is scroll through the list and find the song that is highlighted green and then I can delete it, but this method is a pain as there are song many songs. 

I wish there is a way to quickly delete a song being play.
