Hi there @Spinny07,

Welcome to the Community!

1. Regarding the Lyrics - not every song has lyrics available on it. This is why you won't be able to see the lyrics for every song.

2. Regarding the sharing - can you tell us what happens when you try to share a track from your phone? If you get any error messages, send us a screenshot.

We'll be waiting for your reply 🙂

Hey @Spinny07,

Thanks for getting back to us 🙂

Can you give these steps and run a clean reinstall? This one is more thorough than the usual one. If you're using an SD card, you can remove it, reinstall Spotify and then try running the app without the SD card.

It's also a good idea to try with another account on the same device. That way we can check if it's a device or an account- related issue.

Let us know how it goes. If you have questions, you know where to find us.

I try it all but It doesn't work

And I try with another account on the same device, it's the same.

Hey @Spinny07,

Thanks for keeping us posted 🙂

Just to double check- does the issue occur on another device as well? It's also a good idea to check if it happens with a specific service.

Keep us in the loop! If you have questions, we are here for you.

Hey @Spinny07,

Thanks for getting back to us 🙂

We're often testing new features for the Spotify app. This is why some settings might be missing for some users.

If you can't see the lyrics, you might have gotten a new feature to try temporarily. We'd suggest you check this article for more information. It's also a good idea to always keep your app up-to-date so you don't miss new features.

If you have questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We'll be happy to help.

Now I can see the lyrics in full screen but still can't share songs by copy link, but it's ok.

And I appreciate, thank you for your help 🤝💗

Hi @Spinny07,

Thanks for the reply.

Happy to hear that you can see the Lyrics on full screen again.

Regarding the song sharing - what happens if you send the link directly in another messaging app instead of copying the link? Also, does this happen only on songs or also albums/artists.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

That's another good way. If this problem really can't be solved, I'll have to do that way, but I have a little hope that there have how to fix it. 😭

Regarding the song sharing. This issue is happen every way. Not only on songs but also albums and artists too. (It happens to every song)

Hi there @Spinny07,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Can you check if there are any pending software updates for your phone and install them. Since you've said that you get the same error message when you try sending links while logged in another account, make sure Spotify isn't blocked by any settings on your phone and that no Battery optimization is enabled for the app. Go to:

1. Mobile Settings> Apps> Spotify> Permissions. Allow everything you see there.
2. Mobile settings> Apps> Spotify> Battery> Optimize battery usage> select top All (not optimized for apps)> Spotify> disable.

3. Restart your phone.

If that doesn't work could you tell us if you get the error both on Wi-Fi and mobile data?

Thanks.

Hi again @Spinny07,

Thanks for your reply and for going through this troubleshooting process with us.

Can you tell us the exact version of you Android, as well as your Spotify version.

Another thing you can check is whether you have any Anti-virus or cache clearing apps active on your phone and disable them, as they might be interfering with the functionality of the app.

Keep us posted.
