There's a cheaper plan, but you won't find it on the website.  You might say that there is a best place to buy if you're willing to look for it and pay up front.

The offer you mentioned is only available as an initial free trial or as a special one time offer from time to time. It's unfortunately not possible to use this on a regular basis. You can always check the up-to-date monthly price for Premium here. If you're eligible, you can go for a Student discount. Or you can combine with people you live with in a Duo or Family plan to save some money.

Also, perhaps what @Stooby is referring to are the yearly gift cards. By paying for the whole year, you actually save the cost of two months, so that's an option as well if you're interested.
