I want to sync playlist without downloading to my Android device

In my desktop app, I am manually syncing the playlist. When I check the playlist I want to sync to my Android device, it starts downloading all the music to my Android. I don't want this. I just want the playlist.on my android.

How do I do this and how do I delete the music that already downloaded?

Are you using the "devices" section of the desktop app? That will download the music to your android for offline use.

To get the playlists on your android phone, all you need to do is download the Spotify app to your phone and sign into the app.

When you sign into the Spotify app, all of your playlsits should appear. You can then download them for offline use if you would like.
