I bought a Motorola Moto G second generation 4G a few weeks ago.
It has only 5GB space, I bought an extra SD card 32GB and I installed it.
I bought it for my big amount of Spotify space required but I can't manage to move the app and its data in the SD card.
Is it an impossibile operation?
I can move some apps in the SD card and other no. Why???
If I can't I have to change my phone. It's not funny
Hi there, Spotify detects the storage with the most free space and set's it cache to that when you first install it. If you later add an SD card you will have to perform a clean install and this should then get the cache set to your SD card.
Please read the guide below on how to do this, plus additional tips for ensuring the cache is correctly set to the SD card.

No, it doesn't work.
When I re-install Spotify it goes directly to the phone memory by default and the button "Move to SD card" doesn't work.
Hi,
The actual app has to remain on the phone memory... this is so that it can give you notifications, lock screen control etc as Android disables this level of control from apps on the SD card.
What you want is the data cache (offline playlists etc) to go to your SD card which is what the process mentioned above should do for you.
