Latest version doesn't work at all!

Made the suggested Spotify update (0.5.1.15.g81977995[0.8.3.608.g5049138e]) yesterday on my Xperia Mini Pro (android version 2.3.4) and I hate myself for doing that!!!!!

Sometimes the tune I choose to play starts, but there is no sound at all.

Next time I can play one tune, then everything stops...or...the next tune in the playlist is playing without sound! How f*cking weird is that!?

If the tune is 'playing' without sound and I hit my screen saver, the tune is re-starting when I turn the screen back on....still no sound though.

I can't live without Spotify. Is there a way to find and download the old version which worked immaculate?
