Local files not being displayed in the playlist in the app

When i open my playlist in a web-browser, the songs which i've added from the local files on my device are being displayed, no problem there. But when i open the same playlist on my Android (14) app or on my Linux app then those songs aren't being displayed. Free account. Using the latest Android app available in India. Show local files is enabled in my app and browsing the local files in Spotify, tick mark are shown next to them i.e. Spotify is acknowledging that they're added to playlist.

Thanks for reaching out.

Can you elaborate a bit more on what exactly you're trying to do here? Have you added local files to playlists and are trying to play them across your devices? If so, be advised that you need the files to be present on the specific device for this to work. Have you added them to the Android phone you mentioned? If so do these same files work on your other devices?

From your answer, we understand that you indeed have added the files to the Android phone in question. Is that the case or are you trying to play files that were added into playlists from other devices? If you added the files locally, try removing and readding them again.
