Low, painful stuttering tone in bewteen songs

Hi there,

Lately as I play music while sweeping away at my custodial job I have been encountering a problem when loading songs.

I am experience a low, stuttering noise that is painful to the ear. So painful, in fact, that I have ripped my headphones off and thrown them onto the floor everytime it happens. 😮

This usually happens when I am loading a song that is not downloaded (data or wifi) but occasionally happens with downloaded playlists as well. The sound is hard to describe, but I am hoping some of you will know what I am talking about.

If anyone has any solutions, I'd love to hear it as this is a deal breaker for me.

Carrier: Sprint

OS:Android 2.3 (rooted with Mik rom v3)

CPU: 1 GHz

RAM:512 mb

Ouch. Can you try turning off audio effects and gapless in spotify's settings together with any other equaliser if you have one. Does that help?

I've tried everything that and everything I can think of. I'm in contact with Spotify Support, but they don't seem to sure either.

I'm kind of at a loss here.
