Lyrics automatically scroll to the bottom when in split screen mode

My Question or Issue

When using android's split screen mode, lyrics automatically scroll to the bottom instead of changing lines like expected. This happens both when the lyrics are minimised and maximised. The lyrics work as intended when Spotify is the top split-screen window, but doesn't when it is at the bottom.
