Migrate home sound library to cloud?

I have Spotify premium and I heard that you can put your own files to the cloud. Is that true?

I'm planning to buy a portable SSD, put all my offline music lib (mp3) on it and upload it through my android phone on a place where there is fast internet,

Would this plan work?

Local Files can currently be played only on devices they are physically present on.
