Missing toggle for "control what's playing in jam session"

My Question or Issue

When in jam session, I only want guests to add a song and not change /skip songs. I tried it today and my guests could change songs. I found the instructions to turn this control function off (refer to attachment ) but the toggle is missing. Where can I find it... Or is it missing currently.

Thanks for posting this thread and for the info!

To start, could you make sure that Spotify is up to date, then start a new Jam session and check if you see the function to Let others change what's playing there?

If it's still missing it'd be great if you could send us a screenshot showing how the app looks like from your end. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.

We'll be on the lookout for your response 🙂

Updated the app and it's working now. It only shows once someone has joined 5hebjam session.

Hello! 

I am certainly not able to access the jam feature :((( the toggle for it is also missing and when friends join it they see some different song and it's not even playing. 

At my end well they can't add into the queue and it's frustrating ngl

Thanks for your reply here and welcome!

We'd suggest you perform a clean reinstall on the affected device to see if you notice any difference. By doing that the app can be up-to-date and you can make sure some damage cache is not leading to this issue. You can see the steps for a clean reinstall here.

If this behavior should persists afterwards, it'd be awesome if you could send us:

• Make model and OS of the affected device.
• The exact Spotify version you're running there.
• Does this happen if you open your account on a different device and start a Jam?
• Some screenshots of this behavior so we can better visualize what's happening.
