Music stops arbitrarily, have to go back into Spotify to get it rolling again

What is with this problem of music stopping on its own? I have premium service, but for the past few weeks songs simply stop. When I go back to Spotify, there's my song, as if I never started it. Sometimes this occurs every other song, sometimes 3 of 4 songs play before this stop occurs. I've reloaded Spotify, I've changed my phone settings, nothing works. Every update seems to impact this weird stoppage, but nothing fixes it. Very frustrating. This service used to be a dream, now it's an annoyance.
