Musics plays but wont show the song in the app

My Question or Issue

Lately my spotify app has been really buggy. It started about a week ago and i've never had any issues like this before. The issue is that once i leave the app for a while and come back, or if i just listen to music in the background with my phone in my pocket for a while. I come back and the song playing stops. I try to play a song and it will play. But it does not show at the bottom of the screen that something is playing. Like when you first open the app and haven chosen a song yet. And also when this happens. The auto pause function that usualy works when you for example start to watch a video or turn off your headphones stops working. Like i turn off my headphones and my phone starts playing music out loud. And there is nothing to pause or do anything other than close the app. Same thing if i want to watch youtube or something. I start a video and the musics keeps playing. Try to pull down the notification bar beacuse thats where i always can pause and play but no. I gotta close the app. When i close the app and open it again it works fine. For a little while at least. Then same thing happens again. Over and over and over again. Is there a fix for this? I've tried to clear cache, delete and redownload the app, restarting my phone, logging in and out and nothing works. Very recent issue for me. But it is very very frustrating. Probably had to restart the app 30+ times just today because of this.

Same thing is happening to me for about three weeks now.  Rebooted phone, un-installed, re-installed app. Nothing works.  

Song playing is not showing on list.  Interface is gone.  Interface with car is gone.   I can not control the music.  If I turn it on I have to restart the phone to get teh music off.

Latest update:

A new update to the Spotify Android app should be coming out soon to fix this issue. Make sure you have auto updates on, if not you can go to the app store and manually update when it shows up.

Stops on it's own a lot. Also can't control with headset or widget and the music doesn't stop when I start something else like a YouTube video only way to stop is to kill the app.
