Never shuffle by default

Using premium on Android, I'd like the default when playing an album to be NOT shuffle play. So I can just press the green button and play an album from the beginning and not faff around pressing the interlinked arrows in now playing. Why is this not an option in settings?

Thank you for posting your question on the Community.

On the mobile app, whenever you press the "Play" button on an album or playlist, it will automatically start playing it with the shuffle setting on.

If you want to play and album in order, just tap on the first song and it will start playing in order. Please make sure the shuffle button is off.

OK, useful workaround, thanks.

I presume if I want to put a whole album as next in the queue, it will put it in in the correct order and not in shuffle.

Thanks for keeping in touch.

That's right - adding an album to the Queue will add it in the correct order. The playback will only be shuffled if you have the Shuffle option enabled.
