Unfortunately that's the only device I have at hand. I'll try to reach out NAD to see if they have any idea of what's going on. Is there any info from them that would help you debug? Versions of sdk maybe?

One thing doesn't make sense to me is, if it's my amps fault, then why it works on some phones/PC? I'd imagine the comms between Connect and Spotify servers is agnostic on what you use as remote control, meaning, the error has to be the Android app not handling that data properly.

Hi there @cscleison,

Thanks for the post.

If you don't have any other devices at hand you can test it via a Android>PC connection.

Based on the described behavior, it sounds like this is how the API between these receivers and a Spotify connection via Android is configured. It seems to include a bit that tells the app to lock queue modifications once the connection is established and the app just does what it's being told to in these circumstances.

Overall based on everything mentioned so far and that it without an issue with other devices, we still think the API needs to be configured differently on the manufacturer's end, as we just provide it free to implement, but are not involved in the actual setup, unless the partner specifically reaches out.

Cheers.

Android > PC works fine.

Thanks for your help so far Alex and others. I've reach the manufacturer and will get back if I get anything. Cheers

I have a turntable, so I know it. It is a device that is no longer manufactured, sold, developed, updated and no longer modern now in 2021. I was looking for a similar, cheap device and I found it. Cheap, small, fully functional. AudioCast M5. I recommend
