My Question or Issue

 

Hello,

I have this issue:

When I open app on android smartphone it takes ages to open and then says " No Internet Connection Available" although I have strong wi fi (also happens in 4g network).

After almost 1 minute or so the home screen/album canvas load.

Sometimes I can play songs after this.

Sometimes when I turn off screen the app crashes anda have to reopen and wait and pray for it to work.

I already searched online and tried everything like in the "[COMPLETE GUIDE] How to fix most Android issues" with no success.

I have Youtube Music (free user) app installed, which I'm considering subscribing as Premium and ditch Spotify if this continues, and none of this issues happen in Youtube Music app!

As a first step, try logging out, restarting your device, and logging back in. Also try restarting the app a few times in a row.

 

If that doesn't make any difference, make sure that there aren't any optimization/battery saving or data restriction settings enabled for Spotify in your phone's settings.

 

In case the issue persists, it's worth running a clean reinstall of the app by following these steps. This can be helpful to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.
