Offline Playlist not available when offline

Solved!

Offline Playlist not available when offline

Hey guys,

actually I'm a premium user and I downloaded my playlists lately.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to play these lists, when my device has no internet connection, although they are downloaded!

Sitting in the train back home every weekend the internet connection is miserable and therefore I bought premium to hear my music nevertheless. But loosing the internet connection my device (Galaxy S4) asks me to "Get more premium" and stops the music.

Using the mentioned button it says "You are premium member ..blablabla... bla.. next payment on 30/12/13.. ".

Can anybody help me? I'm not able to find my mistake..

Thanks in advance and sorry for my English - school is quite a long time ago 😉

I was finally able to fix this, and it turned out to be a head scratcher
for tech support as well. What they ended up doing was closing my old
account and opening a new one. Once I did that, there wasn't an issue.
Also, I think it may have to do with the play store, namely if that is
where you get your premium subscription, that may be the issue. I switched
it over to paying Spotify directly, and now there is no issue.

Hope this helps

But it works perfectly normally when you are in online mode?

Same problem here, and when it's online it works fine.  Whenever i take the subway, it will work for maybe 5 or 6 songs, and then it will stop working and say that it needs to connect to make sure i'm a premium user.

Would you guys be able to try all of the troubleshooting steps and fill in the template from this topic

Ok, went thru that whole process mutiple times.  Still no joy.  Basically after 30 min of play, it suddenly says I need to go back online

Anything else to do? it still doesn't work.

Would it be possible to get a screenshot of the error?

It did this again for the umpteenth time. Premium member, current on my payments, connected before going on walk and again, "playlist not available". This is getting very old. I love Spotify but this makes me angry. Spotify? Are you there or are members your tech support?

Hi!
What is the setting on your android for auto clearing cached data? Changing that has worked for some people in the past - their setting was to auto clear the cache, so it didn't wind up having anything downloaded because it deleted everything promptly. 🙂 Hope this helps!

I think what ended up working for me was uninstalling Spotify and
re-installing from the Spotify website directly instead of Goggle Play. I
hope this works for you because in case you have not noticed, Spotify has
no tech support. They expect people like us to perform their tech support.
This ridiculous concept seems to be prevalent.

I already un-install and manually re-install spotify directly from the site but the result is still the same. The two personalized playlist that I have created is still unplayable.

I would suggest that you Google your question in the most short/concise
form and you will find an answer. Good luck.
