Old Spotify Client appearing on Samsung J3

Hello, 

On my friend's new Samsung J3 a much, much older version of Spotify is appearing. It has no music codes or anything. I can't share playlists with her either. It has mixes instead of playlist, and whne every she shares a playlist with me it appears as Spotify created it, at least that is the account is under. Can someone help me update it for her?

It was probably included in the firmware provided by her service provider. It can't be uninstalled but can be disabled. She should then be able to download and install the surrent version from Play.

Thank you for the response, but she had orignally already downloaded the app from the app store. Should she still try to diable it?

No. New features take a while to roll out to everyone. Be patient.
