Payback randomly stopping while playing. Happens only on my phone app

Whenever I use my phone app (which is up to date) the playback randomly stops. Not even paused. And I have to either start the from the beginning or change to the next song. This only happens on my phone

It’s almost like the sound is stuck, no sound will play on anything on Spotify, but if there’s a music video to the song, the music video plays just fine, but you hear nothing.

I have tried everything to fix this. Every song I click on will not play any longer than 10 seconds. I have checked my wifi and ever restarted it. I've cleared the cache. I've logged out and logged back in. And I even unistalled the app. Nothing has worked. Please help

Same here except mine won't play any songs at all now. It worked fine earlier and randomly stopped when it finished one song and went to the next one in my queue. Didn't even play one second of the next song and now it won't play anything unfortunately. Hope they fix it soon

I'm experiencing the same issue - I tried uninstalling, installing, clearing the cache. Songs won't play past 8-10 seconds

Songs will not play after the first 9-12 seconds of any song, I have checked my Wifi, restarted my phone, checked for updates on my phone and the app, and uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I use my account at work and listen to it all day long. I need this fixed

I’ve rebooted the app several times and I’m the only one using this account and only accessing it currently from my iPhone. I have managed to get 8 seconds into a song before it completely stops playing any sound while the pictures run in the background.. doesn’t matter what song all of them stop at 8 seconds

My songs won’t play after the first 10 seconds. I’ve tried different songs and playlists, tried reinstalling the app, clearing the cache, clearing the downloads, and connecting to a different WiFi. Nothing is working. The online platform won’t let me check to see if it’s working there either. It says the page is not found.

Hello, I have a Premium account but it still doesn't let me play some songs for example "I love you 3000" among other well-known ones and now the last straw only plays 5 seconds and stays silent and I have tried many examples: "ed sheeran perfect" and in most cases it happens to me the same. I have IOS iPhone 14 Pro Max

I put in the song for the first ten seconds it played. Then it stop and just went silence. Now it won’t play at all. It just stay at zero. But if I select another song it will play tho.

I'm having the same problem. Using the DJ the speakers go silent but the counter is counting.

Same exact problem.  Daughter wanted to hear Flowers By Cyrus but it either will not play at all or stops around 10 seconds.   If I click to another song, it will play, if I search another song, the same issue happens.  I have tried it on Windows 11 and Samsung Android phone on two different networks and it makes no difference, so the issue is within Spotify and not user related.

After a second or two any "She'll be comin around the mountain" song I try to play stops playing. What's up? I want an acoustic version and they also stop playing.
