Playing on my phone and computer at the same time

I know you have a bunch of messages here but I need to add my name to the pile.

The connect feature is annoying. You have drained my phone battery for nothing. I am very capable of controling my song choices from my computer. I don't need the remote of my phone.

I need to know how to disable this feature or I will be cancelling my upgrade.

I can't have you drain my phone battery everyday. I need my phone, I can always listen to Pandora and this doesn't happen.

There has to be a switch somewhere for people that do not want this option. If there isn't please create one ASAP.

I don't mean to sound crabby but I just discovered that my phone battery is dead and it is because you have been open all day on my phone. Had I known this I wouldn't have been listening to spotify all day.

If there is a way to turn this off on my phone  then please let me know.
