Plays first song in list instead of next song in list

My Question or Issue

Whenever I navigate to the artists tab or the album tab and I click on a song to play, instead of playing the next song in the list after the song is over or I hit skip, it will instead queue up songs starting with either the first song I have saved by the artist or the first song of the album. For example, if I click on the 4th track of an album, once the track is finished it will start back over at the 1st track instead of going on to the 5th one. I have autoplay turned off, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and have tried restarting my phone as well. Nothing seems to fix this bug and I was just wondering if anyone has also experienced this issue and if there were any ways to fix it? This was not an issue for me until the most recent update that changed the user interface of the app as well.

Upon further investigation it seems to only happen when using spotify connect with my ps4 if that's helpful information to anyone at spotify.
