My Question or Issue
Hello there,
I cannot count how many podcasts are available on Spotify, some I listen are active for years.
I've started some while they already have dozens of episodes.
I used to listen podcasts then music or other podcast after an episode, and come back to the podcast page to find out the latest episode played. It worked really good, cause I could easily retrieve the one I had pause to resume it or the one finished to start the next one.
It was great, I didn't have to scroll down until I found the right one!
Unfortunately, for a while, I can't do that anymore...
I'm genuinely disappointed this isn't working anymore. I don't like to scroll to look for it.
Changing the order setting isn't the same, moreover when it's podcast you don't have to listen in the aired order.
So, please, I hope I can have help to have this functionality back.
It was user friendly, and the new way is lesser friendly.
Thanks

Hey @Mckl!
We appreciate your feedback and will pass it down to the right folks backstage 🙂
In the meantime though, you could filter your podcast episodes by 'unplayed'.
This way you hopefully wouldn't have to scroll that much at least.
Note: This filter will show not only the fully unplayed podcast episodes, but also the episodes you've watched up to a certain point.
Hope this helps! And let us know if anything else comes up in the meantime.
Cheers!

Hello,
Thanks for your reply. I finally did apply this filter.
Unfortunately, there is a podcast I listen that probably release more than I take time to play them, so there is still hundreds to scroll. 😅
And even without hundreds, this still a feeling of wasting time compared to what it used to be.
I have an other podcast that started years before I knew it, they talk about a movie, and I play the one I want, so I have to be careful to see the episodes to continue.
So I don't know if there are other users who are unsatisfied with the feature change and if they've manifested their feelings, but I sincerely hope that the previous version will come back, or adjust the new one to allow this kind of use.
Cheers
It is unbelievably terrible that you can’t just “one touch” to continue a podcast after switching back to music.
Since a few months, it works again. But yeah, it was terrible.
