Preview Release - Recommended procedure to change offline tracks from High to Extreme quality?

What is the recommended procedure if you want to change all your offline tracks from High quality to Extreme quality?

Also, linked to the above, how long do you have to wait after undownloading a playlist before it gets removed?

I've tried undownloading a playist, closing Spotify and putting the phone in standby and then waiting 10 minutes, then opening Spotify and asking for the same playlist to be downloaded again. But the tracks come back immediately meaning it's using the ones already in the cache and not downloading again.

What Afront describes might work, but it's a workaround not a solution.

If I want to change the quality of the offline tracks in a playlist (up to get better quality, or down to save space), I want it to happen when I want it to happen and not have to "wait a couple of days". I'm a big boy, I understand the consequences of what I am doing. I know I will lose all the tracks that I want to change the quality of and I know that I will have to download them all again at the newly chosen quality. Stick in an few confirmation dialogs if you are worried that people will do this by accident. Either way, it's completely user-unfriendly that a user should have to undownload a playlist and wait a couple of days or alternately uninstall the app completely and reinstall it again from scratch (which is a wholly unsatisfactory solution if you only want to change the quality of 1 playlist)?

I consider this a bug and hope that it gets fixed before the final release is pushed out to the Google Play Store.

WARNING

I'd recommend keeping your fingers off the android system folder. I tried re-syncing by manually deleting the cache using a file manager. It worked, but, after syncing with extreme quality, the system started to force-close every other app, about every second and non-stop. My only option after trying to re-boot, uninstalling apps, clearing caches, etc. was to hard-reset the system to factory settings.

I don't blame my problem on spotify, I just want to remind you that messing with the system (even without root access) is generally not a good idea and should be done with caution.
