Recent update - unable to add songs to my playlists

My app was recently updated and when I click add to playlist, nothing happens and the playlists do not show up. Is there a way to go back to the older version?

There's a recent bug which affects spotify's context menu if you are using a blue light filter or another app which overlays the screen. This bug report includes a suggested fix.
