Remove/Delete downloads from Android Deviece

Hi Gang, Im new to spotify (yes, ive been living under a rock for a while) and after finally trying the free version i upraded to premium and was amazed how much better it is.  im even considering the family plan!

So my question is this... after downloading songs to my android phone (both from spotify and locally) how do i then remove them from my phone so i get back that space on my phone?  i tried it with one song but the song is still "green text" which makes me feel it is still downloaded even tho i disabled the "download" click button.  and i just wanted to be 100% sure of this before i start downloading all my playlists. 

i mean i guess i could go into the spotify folder on my phone an manually delete it? but id rather know the right way to make sure its done properly and so that i get back my GB space back.

We'd recommend reinstalling the application on your device by following the steps here. As soon as you do it, you'll have that free space on your phone.
