Removing or hiding from artists but keeping in playlist

So I have downloaded a playlist made up of lots of singlle songs from lots of different artists.  Is there a way to keep this playlist yet hide all of these "singles" from my artists section to avoid scrolling through all of them?  I only listen to them in that playlist.
