Samsung S5 wifi disconnecting


For the last few weeks, when I try to listen to Spotify in my Samsung S5, the wifi automatically disconnects and my phone reverts to LTE. I've tried reinstalling the app and clearing cache. My ISP is Shaw and the modem i'm using is a Cisco DCP 3825. Tried opening port 4070 but the IP address provided on the Spotify main site seems to be invalid. Any suggestions?
