Search failure seems to have poisoned search term

I just tried to search several times for "mendellsohn trio". The first few times I got an error (perhaps due to a network issue, although I was online through wifi at the time). The fourth time it briefly said it was offline, but then search started working again.... for everything *except* the terms i just tried to search for!

Now whenever I type "me" or "tr" in the search box, the app instantly quits. Other letter combinations work fine (including if I type some other search term before "me" or "tr").

My guess is that the failed search has poisoned the cached search results somehow. I haven't seen the problem before.

Thought it was an interesting enough bug to warrant reporting.

Spotify version 1.8.0.993 (running under android 4.4.2 on a samsung GT-I9295)

Oh yes; in case it makes a difference, I'm using Premium.
