Sharing a song in Spotify with non-Facebook users

I don't have Facebook and neither does the user I was to share music with. We have both found and followed each other and restarted our spotify accounts. When I go to share music it doesn't not work. I type the user in and a message but the send button does not become 'active' like it's not recognised the user I want to send to. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

You're not the only one missing the feature. It's a known issue.

It does work on the Desktop version, though.
