Shuffle disabling when choosing tracks

The last update is really annoying. I have had Spotify for year and listen to music all day. I like to keep shuffle on but at the same time randomly change tracks myself but now when I choose my track the shuffle disables. Need a fix or a way to permantly keep shuffle on and allow me to choose.

I'm having this issue too, shuffle keeps turning off by itself whenever i select a song from a playlist. It works fine for the normal song library though

I'm glad it's not just me. I've gone crazy trying to fix the problem: clearing Spotify's cache, updating the Android's OS, uninstalling and re-installing Spotify all-together... nothing has worked.

I was having a problem with it before I updated to the new version of the Spotify app as well, thinking that would fix it, but it didn't. I'm not sure it's a problem even related to the update because of that.
