Shuffle play artist missing?

This could be a really dumb question, but I have no shuffle play button when I go to an artist page.  I'm using spotify on the S 3 running 4,3 (jelly bean I believe is the name of that OS).  I've found a thread about this but it was for IOS and didn't help me. Anyways, everywhere I've looked online shows pics of the big green "shuffle play" button on an artist page.  I have searched many artists and it's never there.  I have the shuffle play button when I open a play list, but never an artist.  Can somebody tell me what I am missing here?

You're not missing anything - you need a Free account to get a shuffle button on the artist pages. Please add your support to this idea .

So the free version has more features than a paid version?  That makes a lot of sense to me.... who comes up with these dumb ideas?
