sleep timer on iOs for podcasts gone

Hello, I noticed that my beloved sleep timer for podcasts in gone. Latest iOs, latest spotify app. How can I get it back? Or was it removed on purpose?
For music it is still there in the three dot menu. Bit for podcasts I used to have a little timer icon.

The sleep timer disappeared from podcasts on mine as well. I fall asleep to white noise, and I use it as a reverse alarm. I wake up when it turns off. Now, it goes to the next episode which always starts with an ad. It’s annoying. I can access it if it’s a song, but it is nowhere to be found as an option for podcasts. Hope to get answers/solutions.

Yeah this update is messed up, clearly a useful feature. Quite a few comments say it’s because it’s going through Spotify connect (which my understanding is being played through a speaker of some kind - what I read in some comments) but I am just playing it through my phone and I don’t have it. Will this be getting fixed?

They replaced it with a Skip Button 😭 They have to bring the sleeptimer back!!

iPhone 11 with iOS 17.4.1

spotify version 8.9.30.414

happens regardless of the podcast. The timer icon has disappeared when I bring up the podcast and doesn’t appear in the menu when I press the three dots. (Photos attached).

I think it happened with the last iOS update - only in the last day or two has it been an issue for me.

Device iPhone 14 Pro iOS 17.4.1

This issue started in the past 3 days or so. I believe there was an update, but since things happen in the background I’m not sure.

The sleep timer isn’t in the main screen and it’s not in the menu on any podcast I try. I do see it on songs.

Happens no matter what podcast I have tried. It worked on the evening of april 18th but not the 19th (I’m on timezone GMT+2h). Must have been an update as the typeface of the app and the organization of playlists etc also changed. It looks like this now.

I was hesitant of logging out as I have had significant problems logging in again in the past, but I tried and it worked! The timer is now back! Do try logging out and then in again folks!

EDIT: the timer reappeared after signing out and in but disappeared again shortly after. 😒

iPhone 11. iOS 17.4.1

 problem started April 19th suddenly, near midnight. I set the timer, got up to do something, came back to reset and the timer vanished. Works for songs but not Podcasts.
