My Question or Issue
I have seen many topics about this issue but non of the "solutions" help. I have a list with some local fills and most of them play on my computer and on my phone but however, there are some songs that play on my laptop and not on my phone.
They are all stored in the same spot, I reinstalled the app, I am sure that they are synced to the same network, all my apps and devices are up-to-date,...
I don't know what to do anymore so please someone help me?
Hey @RomyPauwels,
Thanks for posting here on the Community 🙂
Could you give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall? This one is more thorough than the usual one.
In case you're using an SD card, you can remove it, reinstall Spotify and then try running the app without the SD. Sometimes the SD card can lead to issues with the cache.
It's also important to make sure that the songs are in a supported format.
If you've already tried these steps or some additional troubleshooting steps, let us know. That way we'll able to avoid any repeating steps.

Hey thank you for the quick reply.
I tried everything and still nothing.
I can not remove my SD because i dont have space on my phone to do that.
The songs that are " grey " now used to play but stopped out of nowhere
I hope you can still help me 🙂
Hey @RomyPauwels,
Thanks for keeping us in the loop:)
You can try downloading the songs to the device's internal memory to see if anything changes.
It's also a good idea try with another account to check if the issue persists.
Keep us posted! If you have questions, you know where to find us.
Hey
The songs dont play on different accounts either. all the songs are downloaded in the same place on my phone.
what can i do next?
Hey @RomyPauwels,
Thanks for keeping us in the loop.
The fact that the same thing happens with another account indicates that it's more likely for the root cause to lie with the device itself. To that end - did you have the chance to remove the SD card, run a clean reinstall and then try importing a few of the greyed out songs to your phone's internal memory? That would allow us to test whether or not the memory card is causing this behavior.
Keep us posted. We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
