Song found on desktop but not app

Hi,

I found a song I really liked on my laptoo and put it into my stared playlist yet it isn't showing up when I go to play music through my HTC One (M8).

Upon further inspection I found that the song wasn't showing up at all, even when I specifically searched for it.

The song in question is:

Redfined (feat. Melanie Fontana) by tyDi.

Can anyone help me our at least eexplain why I can't find the song?

Hi. Is that song speed locally on your desktop... i.e. An mp3? If so, it may be that the song isn't available to stream in Spotify and as the desktop app can play local files it finds on your pc that's why you can see it. Try adding it to a playlist and then syncing that playlist to your phone.

No it's a random song i found on spotify; it's not a local mp3 file.

But when i open the album in the app it is also the only track not showing.

After a quick search it seems that that specific track is not available on Spotify, even for the desktop. Can you try it again? Did you enable it for offline play by any chance?
