Song starts playing on its own

So when I don't need to listen to any music, I pause the song right? Let's say it stops at 01:45.
Then when I want to listen to music again , I launch Spotify and press the 'back' button because I don't want to listen to the song halfway. I want it to start from the beginning 00:00.
But guess what? When I press 'back' to 00:00 and press 'play', it jumps back to 01:45 (where I last left the song) and starts playing on maximum volume and gives me the shock of my life. It never used to be like this and will obey the 'back' then 'play' button.
Does anyone know how to fix this? It gets really annoying.
